Budget open house tonight

A couple of Cowichan Valley Regional District budget open houses are scheduled to take place over the coming weeks.
The first is tonight (Tues, Nov 7) at the Somenos Room at the Island Savings Centre beginning at 7.
The proposed increases range from just about 62 dollars a year for those in Area I which is Youbou/Meade Creek to a decrease in Area C, which is Cobble Hill.
It is anticipated that the 2018 Five Year Financial Plan Bylaw will be adopted in January.
