Remembrance Day Service Coming to Charles Hoey Park

On Saturday, people can pay their respects to servicemen and women who fought and died for our freedom, and those who are still fighting.
The City of Duncan Remembrance Day service goes at the Cross of Sacrifice at Charles Hoey Memorial Park.
People are asked to be there ten minutes before the ceremony begins at 11 a.m., and during the service, drivers are asked to avoid the area near Charles Hoey Park.
Organizations who want to attend or order wreaths should come to the Poppy Campaign Office at 246 Ingram Street in Duncan before 4 p.m., Friday.
The service begins with two minutes of silence, which will be marked by a siren at the beginning and end of those two minutes.
The public is advised to leave their pets at home.
