Physicians could use some patients

More than a year ago Lake Cowichan was struggling to keep physicians in their community and after attracting 3 new ones the mayor is now urging residents to use them.
Mayor Ross Forrest says all of them are open to accepting new patients, not only from Lake Cowichan but the surrounding area as well……
Another initiative in Lake Cowichan is the construction of a town square.
Forrest says it was supposed to be finished this month, but it looks like it will be next month before it’s good to go.
He is looking forward to seeing people use the new gathering place, which includes an open air stage.
