The Island Corridor Foundation has laid out it’s new long term plan for rail to the Transporation and Infrastructure Minister.
Co-chair of the Foundation, Phil Kent says the meeting was very preliminary and didn’t last very long….
The plan includes rebuilding the track infrastructure between Nanaimo and Victoria and the resumption of VIA Passenger Rail service twice daily from Nanaimo to Victoria.
