Counterfeit bills circulating

There are reports that counterfeit bills are circulating in the community.
Carol-Ann Rolls of Cowichan Community Policing explains how the polymer bills are being reproduced….
Rolls says the circulation of the fake bills could get worse before it gets better…..
She says it is incumbent on all of us to keep counterfeit bills from circulating and both retailers and consumers should educate themselves on what a fake bill looks like.
You can do that through the Bank of Canada website at https://www.bankofcanada.ca/banknotes/bank-note-series/polymer/
