Cowichan Search and Rescue Needs Volunteers

Cowichan Search and Rescue is in need of volunteers.
You don’t have to work in the field, there are many areas this local organization needs to fill.
Search Manager, Patty Abbott says volunteers with a variety of skill sets are encouraged to join.
Abbott says Search and Rescue isn’t for everyone and the local organization gives volunteers a chance to test it out.

Cowichan Search and Rescue is hosting an information night at the Duncan Volunteer Fire Department on Thursday, starting at 7 p.m.
