Police release name of woman who died on Salt Spring Island

Police have released the name of the woman who died on Salt Spring Island Wednesday.
She was 47 year old Heather Jones.

A 22 year old man originally arrested, has been released from police custody, and has now been apprehended under the Mental Health Act.

Investigators are still trying to piece together the last movements of Jones in the hours and days before her death.

A forensic autopsy will be done on Monday.
