Pedestrians and cyclists need to take some initiative to make themselves visible.

RCMP Corporal Tammy Douglas says it is really hard to see pedestrians during these dark months….

This past week, a 17 year old girl died in Port Alberni when she was struck by a truck and an 11 year old girl was struck by an SUV in Saanich as she crossed the street near a crosswalk and suffered serious injuries.
