A fisherman, from Alberta got lost Christmas Day at Skutz Falls, prompting a call to Cowichan Search and Rescue.
The call came in just before suppertime after the man called 9-1-1 around 3:30.
The subject was able to communicate directly with the Search and Rescue team and was able to share his location through his cell phone.
The team found the man along the river in the area.
