The judge will hand down the sentence to William Elliot on Friday after he pled guilty to killing two Cowichan valley women.
Meanwhile…Elliot’s hearing to decide if and when he will be eligible for parole continued on Thursday at the supreme court in Duncan..
His lawyer suggested 12 to 15 years prison time would be adequate considering his clients remorse and troubled childhood.
The Crown wants Elliot to serve the maximum 25 years in prison.
