Family fishing weekend

The 15th Annual Family Fishing Weekend sees events happening in the Cowichan Valley at Fullers Lake in Chemainus, Mayo Lake in Duncan, Bush Creek Hatchery in Ladysmith and Shawnigan Lake.
The executive director of The Family Fishing Society of B-C is Owen Bird.
Bird says regulations and limits still apply, so keeping a fish depends on if you catch it in salt or fresh water.
