No complaints as a result of Malahat construction

There has not been the same number of complaints in the Cowichan as a result of the work on the Malahat that there has been in past years.
Businesses that rely on tourism were upset last summer during construction on the Malahat saying it was affecting their bottom lines.
Geoff Millar, the Manager of Economic Development with the Cowichan Valley Regional District, says they haven’t had one complaint so far…..

And, Millar says, on another front, the province was looking to turn the TransCanada into an expressway between Goldstream and Nanaimo and in doing so make some major changes to the tourism signage policy.
That plan has now been suspended indefinitely.
