Cowichan Legion's days appear numbered

It appears the doors of the cash-strapped Cowichan Legion in Duncan will be closing for good at some point next month.
The president of Branch 53, which currently has 266 members, is Bruce MacDonald.
He says declining membership has left the legion with no money.
MacDonald is upset with the notion of the branch closing because he has been a member of different legions for over 35 years.
He adds his brother has been a member since 1942.
