Tourism Vancouver Island urges local visits

Tourism Vancouver Island has laid out their Strategic Plan for 2015-2017.

Petryk says the tourism industry generates about 1.8 billion dollars in economic activity on the island.

He says about 50% of that is in Victoria, and the other half is north of the Malahat.
