Crowder: Feds are disregarding British Columbians

With the spring sitting of the house of commons coming to an end in Ottawa, Nanaimo-Cowichan MP Jean Crowder now has some time to reflect on the last couple of months.

The NDP Aboriginal Affairs Critic outlines some of the high points from the sitting.

Crowder says she wishes the Harper government would have taken a different approach to the education act for First Nations.

In addition, she doesn’t understand why the feds are disregarding British Columbians when it comes to building the Northern Gateway pipeline when the majority of them don’t want it.
