Potential new businesses soon to have access to Comprehensive Cowichan Profile

The 5 municipalities in the Cowichan region are prepared to spend as much as 60 thousand dollars to come up with a Regional Community Profile.
The CVRD’s Manager of Economic Development, Geoff Millar says the Profile will be a comprehensive document on the available resources in the region that are of interest to potential new businesses.
Millar says some of the information exists now but in some cases it is very rudimentary…..
The Cowichan’s 5 municipalities have contributed 30 thousand dollars to the initiative and the Island Coastal Economic Development Readiness Program matched that.
