Canada Post is confirming there was a suspicious item identified at the Cobble Hill Post Office this morning (Wed).
However, we have been unable to talk to police specifically about the incident and Canada Post is only saying it takes the safety and security of its employees, customers and the mail very seriously and the Corporation has internal safety and security procedures that were followed.
Because a police investigation is underway Canada Post is declining further comment.
