The family of a woman with dementia is angry after staff at the Sunridge Place Care Home replaced her cat with a robotic stuffed one.
Dawn Douglas has been living at the care home for two years and her family says they’ve been working hard to reunite their mother with her cat ‘snoop’.
A spokeswoman has commented that one of the staff members had an allergic reaction to the cat and that’s the reason the cat was removed.
