Community Policing welcomes new volunteers

Cowichan Community Policing continues to look for volunteers to help with programs like shoplifting prevention, counterfeit awareness, and speedwatch.
During a call for volunteers last month, Carol-Ann Rolls says a number of people stepped up, with a couple of new ones coming on line……
The annual general meeting for the Cowichan Community Policing Advisory Committee Society is being held tonight (Tues).
Rolls says police will make a presentation following the business part of the AGM on the incidence of domestic violence in our community….

The meeting goes from 7 to 9 at the Island Savings Centre and anyone interested is welcome to come out.
