Major facility repairs to the Kerry Park Recreation Centre are on schedule and it appears the arena will be open for the ice season starting on September 2nd.
So says CVRD’s division manager for South Cowichan Recreation Kim Liddle.
She says most of the big upgrades like a new arena slab won’t be visible to users, however, other improvements will be.
Liddle says all of the summer programs scheduled on the arena side have been moved, day camp events are taking place at a church close to the facility and everything happening on the curling side is still running.
