Police looking into theft at Duncan cell phone store

North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP are investigating a break, enter and theft from Cowichan Sound and Cellular on Canada Avenue in Duncan.

Police say the local business is missing five display phones and two display tablets as a result of the theft that occurred a few months ago.

RCMP say a lone male jimmied the lock and entered the store, ripping the display phones and tablet from their mounts.

The thief’s actions were caught on surveillance cameras and the image captured was of a dark skinned male with a skinny build wearing a brown hoodie and blue jeans.
