The second week of the teacher’s strike is coming to an end, with both sides at the table, but no word on any progress in the talks..

The BC Teacher’s Federation says it will stay on the picket lines all summer if it has to.

Mike Ball of the Nanaimo District Teachers Association says the government seems to be digging in its heels on what the BCTF sees as a key issue

There’s still no word on whether the union and the province will bring in a mediator.
