Cowichan celebrates Canada Day

The BC Forest Discovery Centre will be presenting a 4 day Canada Day week-end celebration.
And on Canada day, marching bands, dancers, special guests, and cake will be on tap.
There will be free shuttle service from the commons.

In Chemainus,  Canada day celebrations are at Waterwheel park and include entertainment on stage, pony rides, a petting zoo, and more.

At Ladysmith, events during the day at Transfer beach include an art show and auction, along with live music in the amphitheatre.
The Shawnigan Lake/Mill Bay Canada day celebrations begin with a pancake breakfast at the Malahat legion on Mill Bay/Shawnigan Lake road. That will be followed with a flag raising at 11:00 and a parade, and then a carnival at Elsie Miles field from noon to 3.
