The Labour Relations Board says remedial summer school for grades 10, 11 and 12 students who failed a course and can’t retake it in the following school year is an essential service.
Superintendent with the Cowichan Valley School District, Joe Rhodes says summer school in the Cowichan Valley is not an issue.
Rhodes says some regular maintenance kind of work will be tricky though….
