Island Health works to find solution to sewer issue

The faulty septic systems of Meadow Park residents will now be addressed by Island Health officials after homeowners petitioned to stop a link between municipal sewer lines.

The medical health officer for central Vancouver Island is Dr. Paul Hasselback.

He says the current systems are problematic.

Hasselback says a letter has been sent to the residents of the sub division outlining that Island Health will be working with the owners to try to fix the situation.
