Cowichan Watershed Board issues water challenge

The Cowichan Watershed Board has made numerous presentations in the last couple of weeks with the goal of promoting and encouraging water conservation in the valley.
A well driller and member of the board is David Slade.
He says he reached out to small and large water purveyors about taking part in a conservation challenge.
Slade says Ladysmith’s current domestic water use level is 246 litres per day, which is about 75 litres below the Canadian average.
