Uni Village Local Area Plan pushed back again

There is one particular part of the University Village Local Area Plan that continues to divide the Municipality of North Cowichan.

Mayor Jon Lefebure says differing opinions on the north boundary containment area were again brought up in a council meeting last week.

Lefebure says council came to a stalemate when reviewing the future of the lands and weren’t able to pass any motions.

He adds they have decided to bring it to another meeting to see if there is a way to hammer something out.
