The Cowichan Legion in Duncan has officially closed its doors.
The president of Branch 53, Bruce MacDonald, says declining membership left the legion with no money to pay the bills.
He adds all of the stuff in the building is now being sold or given away.
MacDonald says he will miss Remembrance Day ceremonies the most because they use to host Burma Star veterans every year.
