North Cow/Duncan RCMP nab two prolific offenders

North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP’s crime reduction team nabbed a pair of prolific offenders last night.

Police say they recovered three stolen vehicles that were in the possession of 22-year-old Jesse Biley and 23-year-old Courtney Therrien.

They add the pair were camping in a stolen 1979 Dodge Camper and had the other two vehicles, a ’94 Suzuki Sidekick and a ’97 GEO Tracker, on site.

RCMP say two of the vehicles were stolen out of Nanaimo and the third from Ladysmith.

Police say the pair are facing charges of 3 counts each of theft of a motor vehicle and possession of property obtained by crime along with other unrelated and related charges.

The North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP say they have been working closely with the Nanaimo General Investigation Section involving in excess of ten theft of auto files from the Nanaimo to Duncan area.
