Ladysmith and CUPE agree on a new deal
The Town of Ladysmith has ratified a new four year collective agreement with its employees who are members of CUPE.
The new agreement includes a general pay rate increase of 2 per cent and benefit plan changes.
The contract covers the period from January of 2018 through to December 31st of 2021.
It took just 5 days between the Town and CUPE to get to a tentative agreement.
