Order rescinded for Maple Bay moored boats to leave

The Municipality of North Cowichan has rescinded the order for all moored boats in Maple Bay to leave the area and will continue to work on updating bylaws that angered residents after last month’s eviction notices.

So says councillor John Koury.

We asked him what was discussed at Wednesday’s council meeting.
Koury says re-working the bylaws will take some time and any sort of decision won’t likely be made until some point in the new year.
