Stoney Hill Road work approved by North Cow council

North Cowichan councillors all voted in favour of several project bylaws in yesterday’s council meeting in regards to roads on the Maple Bay Peninsula.

According to a report – construction on the roads, which could be slated to begin in the fall, will cost 2.5 million dollars and will avoid environmental and archaeological sites.

In addition, the report states the pathways will link Stoney Hill Road and Bird’s Eye Cove Farm.
