City council has adopted a new zoning bylaw that will help the city streamline development applications and help in the implementation of the Official Community Plan.
The new zoning bylaw required a year-long consultation process that took the form of online surveys, mail outs, open houses and three public hearings.
This bylaw replaces the previous one that was adopted back in 1988 and was amended 73 times.
