RCMP: Report dog traps in Duncan's McAdam Park

According to a concerned citizen on Facebook there are individuals who are placing boards with nails in areas where dogs are running around in Duncan’s McAdam Park.

Cpl Jon Stuart is with the North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP.

We asked him what people should do if they see boards with nails in the park or any other areas used by dogs.

Stuart says if anybody has the malicious intent to set up traps to hurt animals they could be opening themselves up for criminal and civil liability.
