The man accused of killing 2 men at a Western Forest Products mill in Nanaimo April 30th will be back in court in 2 weeks.

Kevin Addison appeared by video link in Nanaimo Provincial Court Monday. He’ll be there in person September 16th, when a date will be set for a preliminary hearing.

He’s facing 2 counts of attempted murder and 2 of first degree murder in the deaths of Fred McEachern and Michael Lunn.

Lunn’s wife Marlene spoke to reporters outside the courthouse.

The 47 year old Addison is being held at a remand centre in Victoria.
