Trial of valley physiotherapist could be done next month

The trial of a Cowichan Valley physiotherapist facing 21 counts of sexual assault may be coming to an end in October.

The judge in the case is expected to set a date to hand down a verdict on September 22nd.

54 year-old Campbell Crichton was charged in March of 2011 for alleged assaults on 5 women while he worked at Cowichan Physiotherapy between 1996 and June of 2009.

More charges were added after police asked other potential victims to speak up following Crichton’s arrest.
