Duncan-born man hosts, produces new TV show on APTN

A brand new television show called Warrior Games will be debuting on the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network this Saturday at 3:30 PM.
Steve Sxwithul’txw, who was born in Duncan and raised on Cowichan Tribes’ lands, is the producer and host of the show.
He says the first episode will feature the sport of stick ball.
Sxwithul’txw adds throughout the first season the show will cover war canoe races, Metis Games, snowboarding and Arctic Winter Games just to name a few.
