Three Cow Valley fire crews, others contain blaze in Sahtlam

A group of firefighters in the Cowichan Valley contained a blaze in Sahtlam on Thursday.
Craig Douglas is a captain with North Cowichan’s South End Fire Department .
He says they got a call around two in the afternoon about a growing brush fire.
Douglas says brush fires are complicated because they are tough to access, usually in remote locations and there is a lack of fire hydrants.
