Forest fire burning near Hwy 4 outside Port Alberni

A small forest fire burning near Hwy 4 outside Port Alberni has the Coastal Fire Centre warning drivers to watch out.
Fire Information Officer Marg Drysdale says it was spotted this morning. It is 0.3 hectares and it’s on private forest land. Three initial attack crews, two helicopters and two officers are on scene.
