Police say a male was questioned and subsequently released without charges after allegations he may have been up to no good by peering into residential windows in the Somenos and Moorefield Road area on Friday.
North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP say the East Indian man is five-foot-nine, slender, was wearing a white baseball cap and sweat pants as well as a dark coloured hoodie.
