Oak Bay Police have confirmed the identity of a body discovered in the Lake Cowichan area is that of 82-year-old Gladys Barman.
In early August, a body was discovered 11 kilometres from the car belonging to the Oak Bay woman.
The BC Coroners Service positively identified the body and Barman’s family is asking for privacy and respect during this difficult time.
