Local police looking for missing 79-year-old Anthony 'Tony' Morley

North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP are asking the public’s help in locating a missing 79-year-old man.

Police say Anthony “Tony” Morley has not been seen since Sunday.

They say Morley left Walmart around 4:25 PM and parked his car, a 2008 Acura, near the staging area of Maple Mountain off of Osborne Bay Road.  Investigators think he went for a walk after that.

Police want people living nearby to check their outbuildings and fence lines in case he’s sheltering there.

Morley is white, with grey hair, balding, very thin build and last seen wearing a white shirt.  His family says he’s in the early stages of dementia and had heart surgery recently, but is otherwise very healthy and active.

If you know Morley’s where Morley is, or have seen him recently, please contact the RCMP.
