The smoking restrictions in Duncan have been expanded.
Smoking is now banned within 6 metres of windows, doorways and air intakes in public buildings in Duncan.
The smoke bylaw extends, now, to include other outdoor public places like parks, playgrounds, playing fields, public-water frontage areas, and public squares.
Smoking includes any kind of substance including e-cigarettes.
The fine for offenders is 100 dollars.
