Winter is coming to some parts of B.C.

While it seems like fall came to us overnight winter is forecast to come to some areas of B.C.

A special weather statement has been issued for parts of northwest B.C.

A cold front is expected to turn rain into snow and two to ten centimeters of snow is expected to fall.

For us, more much-needed rain is in the forecast.

Environment Canada reported just over 8 millimeters fell on the weekend.
