The search for a missing 79-year-old man in the Maple Mountain and Mount Richards areas near Crofton is likely to continue on Wednesday.
Cowichan Search and Rescue were not actively looking for Tony Morley on Tuesday but they have requested SAR dogs to be brought in as well as new personal and resources.
SAR say they have yet to find any trace of Morley, who was last seen on September 21st, despite grid searching parts of trail intersections and high probability areas.
His car was found off Osborne Bay Road, in the parking area for the Maple Mountain trails.
