Cowichan Valley Transit fare changes now in effect

The Cowichan Valley Regional Transit System is undergoing some changes this month.
The corporate spokesperson for BC Transit — Meribeth Burton — says new fares came into effect October 1st.
Burton says a number of service improvements will be introduced on Monday that include an additional 25 hundred service hours added to handydart.
She adds handydart services will become available in Ladysmith on Tuesdays and Fridays.
