Conservation Groups Upset by Poachers Killing Elk

Conservation groups in the Lake Cowichan area are outraged by the site of a dead elk in the area.

The dead animal was spotted by a hunter in the area, who saw a flock of birds gathering above the carcass.

Two other elk have been killed by poachers as well, and the BC Conservation Officer Service is investigating.

To report poachers, call the RAPP line at 1-877-952-7277.
