One Cowichan pre-election survey highlights community concerns

Local citizens group “One Cowichan” has posted the results of its community survey, in advance of next month’s local elections.

Nearly 700 people took part.

The group says the survey paints a picture of what Cowichan Valley residents are thinking about as they get ready to head to the polls November 15th.

Rosalie Sawrie is a director with One Cowichan.


The group says they’ll be asking candidates questions based on the survey, and posting the results on their website onecowichan.ca.

One Cowichan is also getting ready to kick off their “Get out and Vote” campaign with a social event at the Craig Street Brewpub on October 14.
