A cabin fire at the Malahat Ocean View Motel was reported earlier today and three fire departments attended the scene.
It took Malahat Fire Rescue, the Shawnigan Lake Fire Department, and Mill Bay Fire Department less than an hour to put out the blaze.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
