The Cowichan Valley has been chosen by Canadians as one of the Top Canadian Destinations for Baby Boomers.
That’s according to Expedia which says Vancouver Island popped up numerous times in a survey.
Peace, tranquility, and stunning beauty were listed as the reasons the Cowichan Valley and the Comox Valley made the top ten list on the Island.
The only other B.C. community on the list was White Rock.
The Canadian Tourism Institute reports that the baby boom generation is poised to become the main travel market in the next decade and will spend 35 billion dollars annually on tourism.
